Gianni Bardazzi
Chairman
Born in 1965, Gianni Bardazzi graduated in Architecture in 1990 at the University of Florence and got a PhD in 1998 for a joint program between the University of Florence and the University of Chalmers, Sweden. He was consultant in numerous site management projects for ICIET-SIME and ITT Sheraton.
In 1997 he joined the Maire Tecnimont Group where he has been holding important positions and sitting in the Board of Directors of the Group companies.
From October 2005 to September 2011 he was Member of the Board of Directors of Maire Tecnimont and held the position of Strategic Marketing and Special Initiatives Senior Vice President, supervising the Group’s Merger & Acquisition and Communication activities.
From October 2005 he has been Member of the Board of Directors of Tecnimont and from 2010 Chairman of KT- Kinetics Technology. From November 2011 to February 2018 he held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stamicarbon B.V.
In April 2013, he undertook the role of Chairman for Tecnimont Civil Construction S.p.A. (since 2017 Neosia S.p.A.), the Group civil infrastructures company, and of Met Newen S.p.A. (since October 2018 Neosia Renewables S.p.A.), the renewable energy company.
Since May 2016 to August 2022 he held the position of Group Special Initiatives and Regions Coordination Senior Vice President in Maire Tecnimont S.p.A.
In December 2017, he was appointed Chairman of Vinxia Engineering a.s., a company with office in Prague, Czech Republic.
In November 2018, he was appointed Chairman of Tecnimont PVT Ltd., with registered office in Mumbai, India.
From November 2020 to February 2023, he served as President of Confindustria Russia, the Association of Enterprises which represents all the Italian companies operating in the Russian Federation area.
In February 2021 he undertook the role of Vice President for MST S.p.A., the Group maintenance and technical Services company and Member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Maire Tecnimont.
In March 2022, he undertook the role of Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Board for TECNIMONT- KTR LLP with registered office in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In May 2022 he was appointed Member of the Supervisory Board of Stamicarbon B.V. and of MDG Real Estate s.r.l.
In July 2022 he was appointed Member of the Board of Directors of Nextchem S.p.A.
From August 2022 Mr. Bardazzi has undertaken the post of Group Risk Management, Special Initiatives and Regions Coordination Senior Vice President.
