KT - Kinetics Technology collaborates with the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Salerno, in particular with the Proceed lab (Processes and Catalysis for Energy and Environment Depollution). The collaboration started in 2005 in the framework of the Italian FISR project “Pure Hydrogen from natural gas through total conversion reforming achieved integrating chemical reaction and membrane separation” and covers all the catalytic aspects of processes such as:

•    hydrogen/syngas production from fossil and renewable sources through steam reforming, autothermal reforming, catalytic partial oxidation
•    sulphur recovery
•    alkanes dehydrogenation
•    separation of hydrogen with Pd based membranes

The collaboration is proven by the number of European Projects jointly carried out such as Carena and PROMECA.

A large number of Chemical Engineering graduations, PhD thesis, post master internships, scientific publications, and patent applications are the output of this collaboration, from which many graduates have been employed by KT.
