KT collaborates with the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of L’Aquila since 2005, in the framework of the Italian research project FISR “Pure Hydrogen from natural gas through total conversion reforming achieved integrating chemical reaction and membrane separation” where the University of L’Aquila played the role of technical coordinator and advisor to the project.
Throughout the years, the collaboration covered topics related to the process modeling and optimization in the field of renewable energy. An industrial research and development program was carried out in 2008 in the field of desalination technology. Multiple Chemical Engineering graduations and scientific publications have been the result of this collaboration.
